Patrick Mahomes is enjoying his offseason in the sun, with new photos showing him, his wife Brittany and their children relaxing in Mexico.

Mahomes, 28, has certainly earned some rest after leading the Chiefs to a third Super Bowl win of his career last month. And the Kansas City quarterback showed off his self-proclaimed ‘dad bod’ at a Los Cabos resort as he wore a straw hat and a blue bathing suit In other photos, Mahomes can be seen holding his daughter Sterling while he appeared to man a telescope in another.

He and Brittany also tended to their younger son Bronze, who was born in November 2022, with their friends seen nearby as well. The NFL star’s wife, who recently revealed she had suffered a back injury, almost wore Chiefs colors to a tee as she donned a red-and-gold shirt. Mahomes, meanwhile, could be seen in the water with his young children during the trip. He said that he had a ‘dad bod’ in the week leading up to the Super Bowl vs. the 49ers, as he was asked by a reporter if he’d rather have a six-pack or another Super Bowl win.

He later returned to Las Vegas – where the game was played – to celebrate the win and party with teammate Travis Kelce. Things seemed to be lower-key in Mexico, as Brittany laid down on a chair near the pool with friends.

The trip comes after Brittany revealed that she’s suffering from a fractured back. She linked the injury to being the mother of three-year-old Sterling and one-year-old Bronze. ‘Just your daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor,’ Brittany posted on Instagram. ‘Seriously. From: A girl with a fractured back.’ ‘… vacaying with my homies will maybe make [my back] better?’ Brittany wrote in another post.
