Angel Reese called Shaquille O’Neal because Charles Barkley’s rant about Caitlin Clark being protected from “petty women” upset her. Barkley’s rant occurred during Clark’s volatile rookie season. The WNBA has received a lot of attention from the No. 1 overall pick, but she has also received praise and criticism from players and media members alike. Reese’s mentor and fellow LSU graduate revealed on the most recent episode of The Big Podcast that the Chicago Sky rookie criticized him for not responding to Barkley. O’Neal also mentioned that he had no idea what his TNT colleague had said. ‘Charles Barkley went on this a long time back.
