Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens is taking a break from training camp so he can fly to paris to support his wife, Simone Biles in the women’s team final at the 2024 Olympics.
The American football player has been admiring the superstar gymnast from afar whilst he has been hard at work with his NFL team in Lake Forest for their training camp ahead of the upcoming season.
Taking to social media to voice and show is support for his wife via Instagram as she made her valiant return to the Games
Owens however wasn’t content with watching his wife compete at the highest level on TV and has managed to get time off to travel to Paris to support her in person.
Owens took to his Instagram early this morning to share that he had boarded a plane and was enroute to see the seven-time Olympic medallist.
The 29-year-old posted a photo of him on a plane, holding the peace sign with the caption ‘Coming for you baby’ accompanied by a blue heart and plane emoji’.
Owens will touchdown in Paris just in time to watch his wife, the world’s most decorated gymnast compete in the women’s team event.
