Prince William has broken his silence on Kate Middleton’s health with a rare update during a visit to the Isles of Scilly. The Duke of Cambridge, who is the Prince of Wales, spoke out on Friday as he met members of the public while on a Royal Family duty.

Prince William says Kate is “doing well” as she battles cancer. Appearing at St. Mary’s Community Hospital, where he met staff and was updated on the plans for a large new extension, he said: “Keep flagging anything else that we can do. I’m hoping to do more down here where you guys want it.”

He later told another group: “We have got to work to do better.
