Trump says ‘insisted’ to Netanyahu that Iran talks continue
Trump tells Netanyahu that U.S. insists Iran nuclear talks must continue, with no definitive deal reached.
US President Donald Trump said Wednesday he told ‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a meeting at the White House that nuclear talks with Iran must continue.
“There was nothing definitive reached other than I insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a Deal can be consummated,” Trump said on his Truth Social network after the three-hour meeting.
In a statement posted on his Truth Social network, Trump said that “If it can, I let the Prime Minister know that will be a preference. If it cannot, we will just have to see what the outcome will be,” Trump said.
He also referenced previous U.S. actions against Iran, noting that last time Iran chose not to make a deal, it faced strong consequences. “Hopefully this time they will be more reasonable and responsible,” he added.

Trump also noted discussions with Netanyahu regarding progress in Gaza and the broader Middle East, calling the situation “truly PEACE in the Middle East,” without elaborating on specific agreements or initiatives.
